Photography is just so damn romantic. To preserve a moment, to create a moment to preserve, to capture what others might miss—it's important. I see the world as a series of compositions, I use a camera to stop time in a world that doesn't stop moving. 

When it comes to both writing and photography, I try to keep it simple. To the point. I find that's the hardest part about it all, and know what it's like to overdo it. I enjoy the challenge of making something better by making it shorter, simpler. I am a writer and editor by trade. 

When my photographs and pieces of writing invite you in and create a space in which you want to live, or at least vacation, then I know I have succeeded.
